Why Lord Of The Fries Are Opening Their Doors For Breakfast

QSR Media:Tell us about your extended breakfast menu?

We serve Free Range Egg Brekky Buns + 2 vegan options using Tofu as egg.We have also started doing BLT's – it's not easy finding a kosher, halal, vegan bacon breakfast sandwich in many places around the world – no problems in Melbourne! We've introduced a Cheeezy Toast as well. Either vegan cheese or our non-animal rennet top shelf Cheddar cheese. You can add tomato, bacon, even Vegemite to that.QSR Media:How does it perform sales wise?Breakfast has been very successful for us. We choose to do breakfast in only our CBD stores, as there is a high amount of people in the city at those early times. Our breakfast items start at a very low price-point – at only $3 for our Free Range Egg buns, it provides customers with a breakfast option that’s quick, tasty and also ethical.QSR Media:Why did you decide to enter the breakfast trade?Rent is high in the city, why not take advantage, open earlier and offer customers a breakfast option that we ourselves would love to have.We love giving people an alternative grab & go breakfast that's full of top ingredients such as Free Range Eggs, Fresh produce daily from the markets, Cheese with non-animal rennet but still at a low price-point.
