Subway Gets Four Star Rating From Frandata

The chain’s country director said the results reflected its “proven standards”.

Subway is the latest quick service restaurant chain to get a “very strong” four-star rating by franchise market research and consulting firm FRANdata.

“Subway offers a highly structured initial training program and has a suite of highly developed support programs in place to optimise the performance of their Australian franchisees. They are also in the middle of a significant brand refresh and renewal program that is driving improved performance in what is a highly competitive market,” FRANdata Australian CEO Darryn McAuliffe said in a media release.

Subway ANZ country director Geoff Cockerill said the results reflected the brand’s “proven standards” that had been built over its more than 30-year history in the country.

“FRANdata’s rating demonstrates to prospective franchisees that the Subway franchise system is a strong investment opportunity,” he said. “With our proven track record, strong support systems and sales growth during a global pandemic, Subway is an excellent option for people looking for a new career path.”

FRANdata’s ratings are allocated after an independent and fact-based assessment across seven key categories.
