Roll'd To Launch Vietnamese Style Dumplings Range

The move is part of a plan to drive faster transactions.

Roll’d announced the official launch of its Vietnamese-style dumplings range this June

Customers can choose from traditional flavours such as classic pork with extra veggies or prawn and ginger, as well as a beef pho soup version that is a take on the traditional Chinese xiaolongbao.

Vegans and vegetarians can avail for the plant-based Vietnamese edamame and shiitake-filled dumplings.

Inspired by Vietnamese street food stalls, all orders can be ordered in packs of 3, 6, 9 or 12.

In a previous interview withQSR Media, Roll’d founder Bao Hoang said the dumplings range, along withthe rice menu launched last November, was conceptualized in a bid to drive faster transactions.

“People aren't going to want to line up much anymore. It's going to be pre-ordering...They are not going to wait 15 minutes for the meal. I think consumer patterns have changed forever,” he said at that time. “We're actually trying to create a whole new daypart of sales in our business.”
