The chain is donating all profits from this initiative to its charity partners.
KFC has partnered with a fine dining chef to develop an 11-course degustation menu for three nights in Sydney starting April 1.
Showcasing the fast food chain’s menu items and ingredients, the dishes include:
Sittings will be held each evening at 5.00pm and 8.30pm at a “secret venue” in Sydney’s Alexandria, the chain said. The degustation menu, served with wines, is priced at $75 a head with those interested told to sign up to the waitlist by headingto a provided landing page.
“Our fans will experience KFC in ways they could never have imagined as they are taken on a world-first culinary journey that looks and tastes uniquely KFC. We’ve pulled out all the stops to make it a magical moment and one that our guests will never forget,” KFC Australia chief marketing officer Kristi Woolrych said in an announcement.“As a lifelong fan of KFC, creating an 11-course degustation with their most-loved menu items and elevating them to new heights has been a dream come true. For the menu, I’ve taken 11 KFC dishes and reimagined how the flavours and textures come to life using my expertise in degustation menus to truly blow fans away,” Nelly Robinson, KFC degustation menu consultant and chef patron and owner of Sydney restaurant, nel., added.

Those who have been chosen to participate in one of the KFC Degustation evenings will be contacted starting March 23. All details will be shared to them upon confirmation of their reservation.
