The brand will present a limited-time Jamaican Street Food menu from 1 September – 31 October 2015.
The menu additions will be available at more than 110 Jamaica Blue cafés across Australia and New Zealand.
Designed by Jamaica Blue Executive Chef, Danika Heslop, the new menu includes six dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients and freshly-prepared on-site daily.
"The new menu is inspired by the tastes of Jamaica yet suitable to the Australian taste palette and quality standards. In this way, it's a great example of Jamaica Blue's food philosophy of creating classic dishes with a twist,” Heslop said.
“Since the unique flavours and rich spices of Jamaican cooking are naturally suited to warmer temperatures, we chose spring as the perfect season to implement the Jamaican Street Food menu. And, in combination with the modern-look of Jamaica Blue cafés, we hope our customers will enjoy a culinary escape from the typical grind of everyday life.
"Jamaican jerk flavouring is of course prominently featured in the new menu, as are a mixture of spices and tropical fruits such as pineapple – which in-fact, is a traditional gift of welcome in Jamaica.”
A market tote bag featuring a Jamaican-inspired print will also be given away free with any Jamaican Street Food main meal purchase at all cafés while stocks last.
